Linda started her career working in a children’s home, providing care and support to young children up to the age of 16. She then worked as a Homelessness Officer working for a local authority before moving to the Careers Service.
After qualifying as a Careers Adviser Linda spent over 30 years in the role, providing careers guidance, employment support and all-age guidance information in schools, colleges and in public facing Careers Offices.
After retiring from Skills Development Scotland Linda qualified as a volunteer Family Support Worker with HomeStart.
Living in rural Aberdeenshire; “The Best of Scotland from Mountain to Sea”, Linda enjoys being outdoors, especially by the sea (her happy place) and treasures spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Linda has been married to Ian for over forty years and so has developed excellent organisational skills!
